THIS IS NOT AN ACADEMIC EXERCISE BUT A KEY PERFORMANCE AND PROFIT DRIVEN PROCESS



The Strategy Matrix Limited MIB approach is designed to work through your business in a logical fashion. The process begins with a high level analysis highlighting the corporate vision and aspirations. This leads on to a selection of Modules where problem identification is undertaken in a similar consistent manner this is arranged so that only the precise modules required are instigated. Where problems have been identified and with the clients agreement we can make introductions to specialist organisations that can solve the specific requirements. A key part of our approach is to ensure that when we have completed our assignment the skills and knowledge required to maintain the Matrix are transferred to our client’s staff. Our analogy for this process is teaching your staff to be drivers of the vehicle and not mechanics. Many identified situations within an organisation are only the tip of the iceberg and solving these separately does not correct the underlying difficulties. Our process looks for leading indicators rather than lagging indicators so that “fire fighting” management becomes a thing of the past leaving you to concentrate on your core business.




SCALED PRICING STRUCTURE

We have structured our approach to make our innovative process available to all companies regardless of size. We have scaled both the process and the price to make it suitable for all organisations. Our pricing matrix is based on each individual organisations turnover.

  • SCALE ONE; Is for organisations with a turnover of between £500K and £2 Million
  • SCALE TWO; Is for organisations with a turnover in excess of £2 Million
  • SMART MANAGEMENT ANALYSIS MODULE
    The analysis is our initial stage and is undertaken on every project. This first stage of our company investigation is to give us an OVERVIEW of the following areas:

    • Current Company Position
    • Company Aspirations
    • Senior Management Aspirations
    • Company Unique Selling Points
    • Company Structure
    • Senior Management Personal Financial Aspirations
    • Company cultural aspects for better performance

  • SCALE ONE; This process takes approximately 2 man days and is a fixed cost of £1,250 plus VAT.
  • SCALE TWO; This process takes approximately 4 man days and is a fixed cost of £2,000 plus VAT.


  • We will provide a presentation and report based on our findings, which will contain our recommendations for future investigations.

    MODULE 1 (FINANCE)
    From the findings outlined in the Analysis Module we will then extend our investigations with your senior management team and departmental heads to include their aspirations and working practices.

    We will start to build a comprehensive picture of where your business is now. We are interested in your profit centres and chains of communication and command.

    We will provide a presentation and report based on our findings, which will contain our recommendations for future investigations.

    MODULE 2 (SALES & MARKETING)
    The prime focus of this module will be the analysis of the efficiency and effectiveness of the companies current routes to market and the supporting promotional activities.

  • A review of current sales strategy

    MODULE 3 (OPERATIONS)
    This module reviews the internal and external core business practices and relationships from within the company and from an external perspective.

  • Confidential canvas of suppliers

  • A review of operational and production processes
  • Mapping our findings onto the corporate aspirations
  • Highlight critical success factors and areas for further improvement
  • SCALE ONE; This process takes approximately 5 man days and is a fixed cost of £3,275 plus VAT.
  • SCALE TWO; This process takes approximately 10 man days and is a fixed cost of £7,000 plus VAT.


  • We will provide a presentation and report based on our findings, which will contain our recommendations for future investigations.

    MODULE 4 (REPORTING)
    Module 4 is where we collate all this information off site and produce a Balanced Scorecard style approach to your business giving you a full "handbook" to the areas of your business which are critical to your profitability and future growth. We draw in all the other reports and identify the areas of greatest concern to you and highlight areas where you need to be concentrating your efforts for the future. Our comprehensive report is written in a format which allows easy accessibility and is written in a clear non-jargon way.

  • SCALE ONE; This process takes approximately 3 man days and is a fixed cost of £1,875 plus VAT.
  • SCALE TWO; This process takes approximately 6 man days and is a fixed cost of £3,750 plus VAT.
  • MODULE 5 (SKILLS TRANSFER)
    A "Balanced Scorecard" is a useful tool, but that is all it is and to use the tool correctly needs maintenance and supervision. With the Skills transfer Module we train selected members of you key staff to use this tool and to maintain the communication and information flow it produces. We want you to be aware of every critical area of your business and to see where and when it needs adjusting. Our whole focus is in making your company more profitable. We will train your staff to be "Drivers" of this system NOT to be "Mechanics" of the process.

  • SCALE ONE; This process takes approximately 2 man days and is a fixed cost of £1,250 plus VAT.
  • SCALE TWO; This process takes approximately 5 man days and is a fixed cost of £3,750 plus VAT.



  • BUSINESS START UP
    This module is a cut down version of the MIB process and is designed specifically for start up enterprises that have a core skill or product which is in demand. Here we interview the Owners and/or senior management to ascertain the direction the company wishes to take. We are interested in all the aspects of setting up the company from raising funds to implementing company systems from the outset to ensure that success is part of the planning process. This process takes approximately 8 man days and is a fixed cost of £4,000 plus VAT. The fee is reimbursable if you undertake to follow the whole Matrix Process but the Module is also a stand alone piece of work. We will provide support to any business start up and cover all the areas included in the full MIB but to a lower level.


    BUSINESS SUPPORT
    We are very aware that some businesses need support and it is not our intention to abandon companies which have utilised our services and we can arrange to offer the following services to you on an as needed basis.

    • Business Support Programme where you can buy days of our time in advance and utilise them when you need them.
    • Access to Financial Experts to support and enhance your existing Accountancy functions
    • Access to Training and Further Skills Transfer services by vetted and Strategy Matrix Partner Approved associates to cover areas such as: HR - IT - Sales Training - Marketing Services and Performance or Executive coaching
